In this guide, we will show you seven ways to fix Nothing Phone WiFi issues, such as disconnecting, slow or no internet.

Nothing in the Smartphone Market has launched its first phone, Nothing Phone (1). This phone has a lot of features and a unique design. So, in terms of design, it has a transparent back with a notification light that gives it an aesthetic appearance. The Snapdragon 768+ 5G processor powers the Nothing Phone (1). It comes with Android 12 and the Nothing OS.

I’m sure you already have Nothing Phone (1) on your hand, and that’s why you are here. You may have difficulty connecting to a WiFi network on your Nothing Phone (1). WiFi, like any other feature on any smartphone, including the Nothing Phone 1, fails. You encounter different kinds of WiFi-related issues, such as being unable to connect to WiFi, the WiFi constantly disconnecting, or having no internet when connected to WiFi, to name a few. This guide will show you different ways to fix the WiFi connection issues on Nothing Phone (1).

Fix 1. Restart the WiFi router and your phone

It’s possible that your router and phone simply need to refresh their memories, especially if they’ve been connected for a long time. So that’s where you should start. Restart your router to see if it fixes the Nothing Phone WiFi issues. If it hasn’t already, restart your Nothing Phone (1). Allow your router to broadcast the signal and your phone to reboot before reconnecting to the network to see if the problem has been resolved.

Fix 2. Turn on/off Airplane Mode on Nothing Phone (1)

Toggling the airplane mode is another effective way to resolve WiFi connection issues on Nothing Phone (1). When there is a problem with connectivity, one of the first steps is to toggle Airplane Mode on and off. This is due to the fact that Airplane Mode disables all of your device’s connections, including Wi-Fi, cellular networks, and Bluetooth.

For that, simply swipe down from the top of your screen to open the Control Centre, then tap on the “Airplane” icon to enable Airplane Mode on Nothing Phone (1). Then, wait up to a minute, and tap on the airplane icon again to turn it off.

Fix 3. Forget the WiFi Connection

If you encounter issues such as “unable to connect to the WiFi network,” “WiFi connection problem,” or “if WiFi keeps dropping,” you can make your Nothing Phone (1) “forget” the connection entirely. Then, wait a few moments, or even reboot your Nothing Phone, and connect to the WiFi network again. When you’re ready, here’s how to reconnect:

  • Go to Settings on your Nothing Phone.
  • Then go to “Network & Internet“.
  • Tap on “Internet” to continue.
  • Select the WiFi network and tap “Forget“.

Fix 4. Reset Nothing Phone Network Settings

If the Wi-Fi signal on your Nothing Phone keeps dropping or the device keeps disconnecting unexpectedly, you may need to reset the network services. If this isn’t happening on other devices, it’s most likely a problem with your wireless settings. Resetting the network settings will usually solve the problem. here is how you do it:

  • Open the Settings app on your Nothing Phone.
  • Now, go to “System > Reset,” and then tap on “Reset Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth.”
  • Select “Reset Settings,” and that’s it

Fix 5. Check for a software update

In most cases, outdated software updates allow bugs to infiltrate, these bugs may cause Wi-Fi drops or stop Wi-Fi from working. Software updates will bring the firmware up to date and may resolve the WiFi problem entirely. Update your Nothing Phone and the router software.

Fix 6. Disable the VPN or ad-blocker

Virtual private networks (VPNs) are an excellent tool for keeping your personal and sensitive data safe. However, when you use a VPN or ad blocker, your data is being routed through them, and you may face some WiFi issues on your Nothing Phone

Fix 7. Factory reset your Nothing Phone

If, after following all the above steps, the WiFi connection issue on your Nothing Phone persists, you will have no choice but to factory reset your phone. This will fix any software-related issues, including network issues like this one. You should, however, back up your data and files just in case, as deleting them will result in their permanent removal from your system.

  • Open the Settings app on your Nothing Phone.
  • Then, go to “About Phone > Factory Reset”.
  • Tap on “Erase All Data” and that’s it!
