Fix Network Connection Error On macOS Ventura On VMware
To fix the error “You are not connected to the Internet” on macOS Ventura on VMware Workstation Pro/Player, follow the below steps:
Step 1. Open your VMware by searching for it in the Start Menu.

Step 2. From the left panel, find and click on the Virtual Machine for macOS Ventura. (In my case its macOS 13)

Step 3. Next, right-click on “macOS 13” and click “Open VM directory.”

Step 4. Then, right-click on “macOS 13.vmx” and open with Notepad.

Step 5. Now, click on the “Edit” and select “Find” from the menu. Alternatively, you can also use “Ctrl + F” to open it.

Step 6. In the search box that appears, search for the below line.
Ethernet0.virtualDev = “e1000e”

Step 7. Now, change the e1000e to vmxnet3.


Step 8. Finally, go to the “File” tab, click “Save,” and that’s it!

Congratulation, you can now connect to the network on macOS Ventura (macOS 13) installed on VMware.
